Permanent makeup can last years! Longevity is based on many  individual factors that vary per person. Including but not limited to - age, skin type, medications and lifestyle. 
A 6-12 week touch up following the first permanent makeup appointment is essential for long lasting results. After that, touch ups or refreshers are done at your discretion. The length of time needed before or between touch ups,  depends on the physical attributes listed above as well as your desired outcome. For example - if you desire a bold makeup look, it will require more frequent touch ups than a soft natural look. On average, permanent makeup touch ups are done around 2-3 years. You can also choose to let your permanent makeup fade out. The choice is yours!
